EMAP conducted training to 15 producers representing 11 companies of medicinal and aromatic plants products in Upper Egypt, on foreign trade and export.
The training which took place in Fayoum Governorate from 23-27 December 2014 was aimed to develop marketing and export skills of medicinal and aromatic plants producers and hereby help them grow their export business.
The Training focused mainly on export regulations and procedures, export transportation and logistics, banking terminologies as well as the role of the world trade organization in regulating the rules of trade between nations.
During the training, the attendees were also introduced to international markets essentials, the way to select their target markets, analyzing and evaluating competitors, identifying agents and distributors, and managing export risks.
At the end of the training, the trainees were aware of setting export prices and managing financial risks and eager to apply what they learned. They passed practice exams and received certificates.
